Days required: Saturday AM & PM, Sunday AM & PM. Bank holidays AM & PM will also be required

£6.44 per visit (equates to £25.76 total per typical weekend if all visits are completed)

We have a rare opportunity for a Part Time Gatekeeper to open and close the gates and the book of remembrance room at the weekend and on bank holidays at our beautiful West Wiltshire Crematorium.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone very local to the site to help ensure the grounds are open for families to visit their loved ones and enjoy peace and reflection time on our grounds.

The role:

You will only need to be available over the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and on bank holidays.

You do not need to do anything else at all and can leave as soon as the gates and the book of remembrance room are opened / closed, and you have checked that no one is left in the grounds when closing, it really is as simple as that!

Weekend and Bank holiday opening times: 10am opening to 4.30pm closing

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and able to commit to the hours required every week.
• You don’t need any experience but could suit someone who has been a caretaker before.
• Someone local to site would be preferred - you will need to be able to commute easily to site at weekends and on bank holidays.
